Stop focusing on EVERYONE ELSE’S NEEDS????????To be frank, lgbtq people are notorious for abandoning ourselves to “be of service” to others. Stop that. You learned as a kid to cater to your parents’ wishes and whims and “make sure dad’s in a good mood.” You did this to survive. And that’s fine! It’s great, in a way, because this skill of making others feel good helped you to survive to today, and I’m glad you’re here today. BUT, the obsession with helping everyone else has also made you joyless and started eating you from the inside out. This is the tough love part: you must stop it. Stop today. Find a balance. It’s good that you care about other people, BUT YOU MUST care about yourself as much if not more. If that makes you uncomfortable, good. “Uncomfortable” points you in the exact direction you should go. Love you!???????????????????????????????? #nonbinary #inspiration
